A  Taste of Blacksmithing –  Saturday 15th of November 2025  – 9am to 12 noon

The Wandin Blacksmithing Group are pleased to offer our Taste of Blacksmithing session. Students will learn how to use a forge to heat and shape metal. No previous experience is required. The best part is that you get to take home the finished items that you have made such as candle stick holders

Experienced instructors teach: use of blacksmithing tools; heat control and blacksmithing techniques. They will also demonstrate some advanced techniques and answer any questions that you may have. 

Courses are conducted in the historical setting of the Mont De Lancey Homestead and Museum located at 71 Wellington Rd, Wandin North.

The cost is includes use of all tools, equipment, PPE and materials needed.
